A Quick Guide To Manifestation And The Law Of Attraction

If you’ve read the best-selling book, The Secret, you probably know what I’m talking about when I say “manifestation” and the “Law of Attraction”. However, for anyone who is not familiar with it, here is a brief definition. Put simply, the Law of Attraction refers to a person’s ability to attract whatever she or he wants into their lives, by focusing their mind and attention on it. This is made possible because The Law of Attraction uses the mind’s power to translate thoughts and intentions into reality.

To some, this may sound ludicrous, but consider how we bring anything new into our lives. Yes, we first think about it or get an idea. And, unfortunately, this can work for both pleasant and nefarious things. Furthermore, if we focus on negativity, we remain in a negative mindset, whereas by focusing on positivity and goals, we are more likely to put actions in place to achieve them. Do also remember,  it can be very draining to have this kind of awareness if you are not used to it.

What about Manifestation?

The Law of Attraction and manifestation are intertwined, but essentially manifestation is the term used to describe the action of bringing something into physical being through your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. Certain natural events, such as full moon manifestation, are thought to make it easier for people to manifest their desires due to the additional power that a particular event provides.

Using the Law of Attraction and Manifestation

When reading about the Law of Attraction, many people believe that it will take them years to learn how to properly manifest their desires, but, in fact, it is possible to begin reaping the rewards of manifestation almost immediately if you follow five simple steps.

Get Specific and Detailed

It’s important to be as specific as possible when you want to manifest something into your life. In other words, don’t just say, “I want a new car.”. Instead, See, feel, and experience that new car in all of its detail in your mind and heart. What color is it? How does the steering wheel feel in your hands? Where will you drive that new car and with whom?

Remove Obstacles

The three most common obstacles in the way of successful manifestation are toxic people, a negative mindset, and poor timing. You have the ability to change the first two by making some different decisions. However, the third is a little trickier. It can be difficult to wait for some things that we want, especially if we don’t understand the bigger picture. For me, the best thing is to remember that all things happen just as they are supposed to.

Visualize What You Want

For manifestation to work, allow yourself to see and feel exactly what it is you are trying to manifest in as much detail as possible. As I mentioned above, try to see, smell, hear and feel the experience of having that thing. Really connect to your emotions if you can.

Take Action

Some manifestations will come about with seemingly no action, but if you feel a sudden urge to do something, take a chance and see what happens. Usually, however, that thing you want will require some solid effort on your part. Like that new job you want…chances are, applying for jobs will manifest you more opportunities than doing nothing. You get my point…

Be Grateful and Celebrate Your Victories

It’s important to take the time to recognize when you have succeeded and to appreciate what success feels like. Consider your manifestations gifts from the universe and be thankful for them. Make a big deal out of things that you know have come about because you focused on them.

If you want to learn more about manifestation and the Law of Attraction, The Secret is a good place to start, but there are thousands of manifestation coaches out there who also publish informative content on their websites or YouTube. The best thing you can do is give it a try and see what works for you.
