Finding Perception

Yes, I’m still here…sorry about the gap in the personal insight posts. I’ve been a little high strung lately and not sure if you really wanted to hear about it.  I’m spending a lot of time figuring things out and planning for some major life changes.  It’s not good or bad; it just is.  I’ve accepted that labeling the events of our lives doesn’t always serve well in the emotional department.  Perception is the only thing that really matters.

I’ve absorbed every possible life-lesson I can from Finding Nemo and the fifteen episodes of Barney & Friends that my sweetie-pie-two-year-old would watch every minute if I let her.  For example:

♦ Never put all your “eggs” in one basket…or anemone.

♦ Barracudas are mean.

♦ Don’t overprotect your children.

♦ Swimming with jellyfish is not a good idea.

♦ Letting go is not the end of the world.

♦ If you don’t know what to do, just keep swimming.

♦ Trying new things is imperative for self-growth.

♦ Keep your friends close.

♦ Never underestimate the power of determination.

I could go on…and on, but I won’t.

About Kellie R. Stone

"I make no excuses for my diverse roles as a Rock Your Feminine Type Coach™ and Branding Expert, best-selling author, and crime thriller novelist. Yes, I do still chuckle a bit at the irony. I kick ass as a women’s biz coach by day and kill off vulnerable fiction characters at night. What the hell, it makes for some interesting dreams. I believe that everyone should pursue their passions no matter how out there they seem to be. One of those pure heart-fluttering passions for me has always been writing. Since I did, indeed, chase my dream of being a writer, I've published two non-fiction books in the self-development genre, co-authored an international best seller, and now I'm finally pushing my much-too-old-to-be-in-the-nest novel out the door and into the world. My whole world is empowering and I adore showing others how to live life unfiltered, whether I do that through the written word or my coaching work. I love my job!" ~Kellie R. Stone
