Think Your Way to Happiness

Thousands of fleeting thoughts run through our minds every day.  Some we choose to let pass like a speeding bus; while others are held captive by a need to dwell on their implications.  They may develop in our mind’s eye as if a tiny artist stand painting a picture inside of us.  Those are the ones that make us take notice of our dreams, desires, and ambitions.  Thoughts lead to emotions if we allow them to go that far.

What Do You Want?

I’m not talking about trying to cast spells or demand things from the universe that won’t benefit you; I am trying to help you understand the power of your mind in bringing forth the flow of goodness and prosperity.  Try to grasp this concept as you read further.  The law of attraction is at work all around us, everyday.  The question is:  What do you want to attract?  Do you want a mate, a home, a new career, friends, a better spiritual life; any of these things are valid needs in most people’s lives.

Think About Your Dreams

Imagine if you could think something and actually see it come to pass in a relatively short amount of time.  What if I told you it was possible?  Our minds are powerful portals through which we can indeed live our most wonderful aspirations.  You see, when we think about something with fervor and emotion, (good or bad) we are sending forth a type of message to the universe; one that will get a response.  The president and director of Centerpointe Research Institute, Bill Harris says, “When you focus on something with a lot of passion, it makes it happen even faster.”  Call it prayer, meditation, or whatever you want.  Factually, the results depend on not what label you put on it but the reality that we connect to a much larger purpose on that level of consciousness.

The Concept Has Credibility

Many individuals have come to know this incredible law through their own experiences.  Materials like The Secret, The Master Key, and the age old book, Think and Grow Rich are cornerstones in this  human search to find the truth about our inner power.  The concept of thinking about the good and shunning the bad is also seen in the teachings of the world’s religions; including, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism.  Honestly, religion has nothing to do with it.  Whether we believe in God, a higher power, or a collective consciousness, we can affect the outcome of our lives through powerful visualization and thoughts of what we want.

Clean Up Your Mind and Mouth

Of course, most of us have damaged our lives with negative, destructive thinking that has brought-that’s right- negative, destructive events.  It’s time to turn all that bad energy into a positive flow of goodness once and for all.  Start by monitoring your thoughts and words.  You might even want to journal your findings for a few days just to locate how far into the negative you really are.

If something is bothering you enough to think about it all the time, it’s probably your minds way of telling you that it’s time to deal with it.  Bad thoughts and words are in a sense emotional vomit.  They come out when you least expect them and usually when you are not prepared.  This is where it becomes imperative that you watch your mouth.  How many times a day do you say “I’m so sick and tired of this,” or “I’ll never get this done,” or “I don’t have the money for that.”  You get the picture.  Being aware of these destructive statements is half of the battle.  Think about how you can say things differently, more positively.

The Connection Between Our Mind, Mouth, and Actions

When you get a destructive idea or thought, try to counteract it with at least one other good one.  Also, when you make decisions to act on a thought, you have made the intangible, tangible.  You can understand why someone with evil thoughts can act in evil ways; and why someone with loving thoughts can act in a loving way.  We can literally live out what we create in our minds.  Thankfully, though, not everything we think comes to pass.  As I said in the beginning, there is a difference between a fleeting thought and a mental plan.  You might think about strangling your boss or spouse, but it doesn’t mean that you will actually do it.

Positive Action Creates Positive Results

Surround yourself with the epitome of what you desire.  A dream board, photos, notes; whatever it takes to get the new, positive ideas into your head and heart.  Be thankful for everything good in your life, and actually say it out loud every day.  Feel the emotions as if you have already received your heart’s desires.  Sow some seeds of faith that your dreams will come true.  It’s time to grow past the mundane life that has so many of us in its grip.  Dare to believe that your life can be different.  You have the power within you to change your circumstances…no matter what.

About Kellie R. Stone

"I make no excuses for my diverse roles as a Rock Your Feminine Type Coach™ and Branding Expert, best-selling author, and crime thriller novelist. Yes, I do still chuckle a bit at the irony. I kick ass as a women’s biz coach by day and kill off vulnerable fiction characters at night. What the hell, it makes for some interesting dreams. I believe that everyone should pursue their passions no matter how out there they seem to be. One of those pure heart-fluttering passions for me has always been writing. Since I did, indeed, chase my dream of being a writer, I've published two non-fiction books in the self-development genre, co-authored an international best seller, and now I'm finally pushing my much-too-old-to-be-in-the-nest novel out the door and into the world. My whole world is empowering and I adore showing others how to live life unfiltered, whether I do that through the written word or my coaching work. I love my job!" ~Kellie R. Stone
