Fortunate Friday: Direction

Lost and Found

Have you ever been lost in a strange city or even in your own town?  It happens; and when it does, it can be terrifying.  You’re lucky if someone nice is available to help you find your way.  I remember being lost in a not-so-nice part of town years ago – before cell phones.  I was scared and didn’t even want to ask for directions, as the people looked as though they couldn’t care less about my predicament. Thankfully, I was able to read the signs and determine the direction in which I was traveling.  It was only minutes before I recognized a landmark and could navigate my way home.  My mom had taught me to pay attention to where I was at all times.  It paid off that day.

The Blog Compass

Lately, I’ve been thinking about the direction of this blog.  I often wonder if WLL is lost and meandering around an unknown part of the blogosphere without a compass.  I have to admit when I started it, I really had a sketchy idea of how it would develop; I was all over the board with posts about anything I could think of.  It’s a little better now.  At least I know that natural health and beauty is a direction worth going in.  But I’m still looking for that perfect niche that sets us on top.  Are we lost?  No.  Do we need to locate ourselves?  Yes.  Daily.  Hopefully you got the little life-lesson in my example.

So, today, I’m fortunate for having some direction.  Was there a time in your life when you lacked direction- physically, mentally, or spiritually?  Please share.  Be well-be beautiful.

About Kellie R. Stone

"I make no excuses for my diverse roles as a Rock Your Feminine Type Coach™ and Branding Expert, best-selling author, and crime thriller novelist. Yes, I do still chuckle a bit at the irony. I kick ass as a women’s biz coach by day and kill off vulnerable fiction characters at night. What the hell, it makes for some interesting dreams. I believe that everyone should pursue their passions no matter how out there they seem to be. One of those pure heart-fluttering passions for me has always been writing. Since I did, indeed, chase my dream of being a writer, I've published two non-fiction books in the self-development genre, co-authored an international best seller, and now I'm finally pushing my much-too-old-to-be-in-the-nest novel out the door and into the world. My whole world is empowering and I adore showing others how to live life unfiltered, whether I do that through the written word or my coaching work. I love my job!" ~Kellie R. Stone
